Protect your environment with a list of allowed IP addresses
The IP Allow List is an important security feature that allows users to restrict access to their environment to a specific list of IP addresses. This feature ensures that only authorized users with access to the specified IP addresses can connect to the environment. It is an effective way to prevent unauthorized access and reduce the risk of potential security breaches.
Enable the IP Allow List
- Log in to your account and navigate to the project that contains the environment you want to edit.
- Click on the environment to open its settings.
- Click on the "IP Allow List" tab.
- Click on the "Enable IP Allow List" button.
Note that once the IP allow list is enabled, only the specified IP addresses will be able to access the environment. All other IP addresses will be denied access.
Disable the IP Allow List
- Log in to your account and navigate to the project that contains the environment you want to edit.
- Click on the environment to open its settings.
- Click on the "IP Allow List" tab.
- Click on the "Disable IP Allow List" button.
The IP allow list for the environment will now be disabled, and all IP addresses will be able to access it.
Manage allowed IP addresses
Add a new allowed IP address
- Log in to your account and navigate to the project that contains the environment you want to edit.
- Click on the environment to open its settings.
- Click on the "IP Allow List" tab.
- Under the "Entries" section, enter the new IP address you want to add to the allow list.
- Click on the "Add IP to Allow List" button.
Remove allowed IP address
- Log in to your account and navigate to the project that contains the environment you want to edit.
- Click on the environment to open its settings.
- Click on the "IP Allow List" tab.
- Under the "Entries" section, find the IP address that you want to remove from the list.
- Click on the "Remove" button next to the IP address you want to remove.
