Protect your environment with password protection
Require visitors to provide a username and password, preventing unauthorized access.
Enable the IP Allow List
- Log in to your account and navigate to the project that contains the environment you want to enable Password Protection for.
- Select the environment from the list of environments.
- Click on the "Password Protection" tab.
- Click on the "Enable Password Protection" button.
Once you have completed these steps, Password Protection will be enabled for the environment, and users will need to enter the username and password you set in order to access it.
Disable the IP Allow List
- Log in to your account and navigate to the project that contains the environment you want to disable Password Protection for.
- Select the environment from the list of environments.
- Click on the "Password Protection" tab.
- Click on the "Disable Password Protection" button.
That's it! The Password Protection feature has been disabled for the environment, and users will be able to access it without entering a username and password.
Update password protection credentials
- Log in to your account and navigate to the project that contains the environment you want to edit the Password Protection credentials for.
- Select the environment from the list of environments.
- Click on the "Password Protection" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Credentials" section on the page.
- Enter the new username and password that you want to use to access the environment.
- Click on the "Update Credentials" button to save the new credentials.
You have now changed the Password Protection credentials for the environment, and users will need to enter the username and password you set in order to access it.
