Introducing OpenSearch

We are excited to announce a new add-on service for your projects: OpenSearch.

OpenSearch is an open-source search and analytics suite. Enabling this service gives your project one or more dedicated OpenSearch instances to power full-text search, log analytics, and more for your application.

Once set up, you can view every instance's host, port, TLS setting, and credentials under Services > OpenSearch. See the OpenSearch docs for how to put those connections to use in your application.

For now, our support team configures each OpenSearch instance for you. Self-service provisioning is on our roadmap. To get started, contact our support team with your project ID and a brief description of your use case.
