Support requests
Some services are set up and changed by our team instead of by yourself: Varnish, Redis, MySQL, Object Storage, RabbitMQ, Meilisearch and OpenSearch. You can request them directly in Hubble Studio. Every member of the project's team can submit a request.
Requesting a service
- Open the service under Services, for example Services > Object Storage.
- If the service isn't enabled for your project yet, click Request … (for example Request Object Storage) to request its setup. If it's already enabled, click Request a change.
- Answer the questions. Required questions are marked, all others are optional. Every request also lets you name a Desired date and add Additional notes.
- Click Submit request.
Our team receives your request with all your answers and gets back to you. After submitting, you'll see the reference of your request (for example HCLOUD-123). Please mention it whenever you contact us about the request.
Setup and change requests
Which kind of request you submit depends on the state of the service:
- Setup: the service isn't enabled for your project yet, and you'd like our team to set it up.
- Change: the service is already enabled, and you'd like our team to change it, for example to add another bucket or vhost, to change permissions, or to disable the service again.
The questions differ between the two, so you only need to tell us what's relevant.
Following your requests
You'll find all requests of your project under the Support tab of the project, together with their topic (for example Object Storage setup), who requested them and when. Click a request to see all the answers given.
Each request has one of these statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | The request was submitted and our team is working on it. |
| Completed | Our team has carried out the request. |
| Declined | Our team won't carry out the request. The reason is shown on the request. |
